“Install three granite counter tops. The longest cabinet run was 13 feet so there had to be a seam in the top where two pieces were joined together.

First I would like to say that the folks at Lexmar were very professional, knowledgeable, timely and neat. We remodeled our kitchen in February 2012, putting in three granite cabinet tops. We contacted 3 vendors, and Lexmar had the most reasonable price. We learned of Lexmar at the Pittsburgh Home Show in 2010. Two years prior to the kitchen remodel, I was in the process of making new cabinets. The Lexmar folks patiently worked with me for a year and a half answering my questions about the process and ‘dos and dont’s’ in cabinet construction as it pertained to the counter tops. My wife and I selected our granite in December and shortly thereafter it was delivered to Lexmar. In mid-January one of their employees came to our house at the scheduled time and made a template of the 3 counter tops. Back at the shop, they marked off the counter top pieces on the granite slab for me to approve. The layout man paid close attention to color matching, selecting the best match for the two pieces that had to be joined together.Three weeks later, on the scheduled day of installation, two employees showed up with the materials. The first thing they did was cover the floor with drop cloths and bring in a trash can and their tools. They then proceeded to install the counter tops. The two workers were very polite and efficient. They kindly answered all of my questions about the process of the installation. When they were done we had a dramatically transformed kitchen – the countertops are gorgeous. My wife had been very concerned about how the one seam would look, and she was thrilled with the care Lexmark had taken to match the pieces for the seam, to align the two edges and to seal the edges in a way that makes the seam much less noticeable. I highly recommend Lexmar to anyone who needs a granite fabricator and installer.”
